Calling all doodlers, storytellers, and big-idea kids! Inspired by the wildly creative spirit of Dav Pilkey’s Cat Kid Comic Club series, this spring break camp invites young artists to unleash their imaginations and create their own hilarious, heartfelt, and totally original comics.
Campers will design unforgettable characters, experiment with expressive drawing styles, explore speech bubbles and sound effects, and learn how to turn silly ideas into full comic stories. Through both individual projects and collaborative “comic club” challenges, kids will build confidence, stretch their storytelling muscles, and discover that there’s no such thing as a mistake — only creative possibilities.
Each day blends mini-lessons, hands-on comic making, laughter, and plenty of time to create. We’ll wrap up the week with a special comic showcase so campers can share their work with family and friends.
Whether your child already fills notebooks with cartoons or just loves a good laugh, Cat Kid Comic Camp is a place to draw boldly, tell stories bravely, and celebrate their unique creative voice.
